AML/KYC policy
1. No KYC Requirement
- ETZ-Swap does not require KYC for standard crypto-to-crypto swaps.
- We do not request identity documents as part of normal operations.
- We do not operate account-based verification systems.
2. Internal AML Logic
Although we do not operate a traditional KYC model, ETZ-Swap uses proprietary risk assessment logic to protect infrastructure integrity.
This internal system is:
- Algorithmic
- Risk-based
- Non-identity-driven
It evaluates transactional risk without requiring personal identification by default.
3. Transaction Handling Policy
If a transaction triggers risk parameters or cannot be processed:
- The swap may be delayed
- The transaction may be declined
In such cases, funds are returned to the original sending address whenever technically possible.
Exception: If the sending address is identified as a hot wallet or centralized exchange-controlled address, a refund address may be required.
4. No Arbitrary Freezing
- ETZ-Swap does not permanently freeze user funds without cause.
- If a swap cannot be completed, funds are returned.
- We do not confiscate assets.
5. Compliance Position
- ETZ-Swap aims to operate in alignment with general industry standards while maintaining a privacy-first architecture.
- We do not use identity-based surveillance models.
Our Position on Privacy Coins
- Privacy-preserving cryptocurrencies such as XMR are tools of financial discretion.
- They are not inherently illicit.
- ETZ-Swap supports privacy technologies because we believe users deserve transactional confidentiality.
- We do not discriminate against privacy-focused assets.
